A 3-Step Guide to Creating an Effective Gratitude Routine that will Shift Your Vibration

As with anything we wish to make a habit, consistent practice for 21-30 consecutive days is the first tip to creating a lasting shift in our state of being. So why is a daily gratitude routine (preferably in the morning to set the tone for your day), so important? We are talking about the Law of Attraction (LOA) here - like attracts like. If we consciously choose to focus on what we already have that brings us peace, security, love, fulfillment, and happiness, we will be demonstrating to the Universe that we want more of that, and this is the energy we will then attract back. When speaking about the LOA, the same applies if we tend to focus on what we DON'T currently have, which will only perpetuate a state and feeling of lack rather than abundance, which is why practicing GRATITUDE can be life changing when we want to create more abundance in our lives.


Right now, Humans as a collective tend to value instant gratification - which isn't wrong, we are just a bit too smart for our own good and we know we can find ways to create results quicker and quicker - so the practice I created is a way that can fast track your manifestations of abundance if utilized with these 3 steps in mind: 1) Setting PURE intentions of wanting to improve your own vibration and state of being first and foremost (NOT just to manifest material things), and to better your overall well-being because what we do for ourselves, we are also doing for the collective consciousness, 2) Commitment to making this a DAILY habit, and 3) Willingness to express and truly FEEL gratitude for what we ALREADY have in our lives, which may require looking at some things we have resistance towards (but this is a positive thing, I promise!)


In addition to these steps, I wrote a short poem I would like to gift to you! It was made with the intention to be very general, for universal reliability purposes, but also because if you listen to Esther and Abraham Hicks, we have heard her speak about how getting too specific can invite resistance into our vibration, which can cause the opposite effect we are wanting to achieve with this practice. To optimize the poem, I suggest reciting it out loud, with focused intention on each sentence while consciously connecting to the emotions that arise within you as you speak. Go slowly at first to fully feel and cultivate those feelings throughout your entire being. This is where you may notice any resistance that pops up that might be counterintuitive to the practice. Coaching tip - this will be an indicator of an area that may need to be addressed in your vibration such as forgiveness and completion with yourself, a person or situation.


If any of the words or phrases I chose do trigger you, or you simply do not resonate with them, then change them or take them out completely! This is simply a guide to get you started and can be customized for your own life, but I do recommend the guidelines of remaining general. Another quick tip that can speed up the process for your subconcious mind - having a crystal, stone or other trinket to hold whilst reciting the gratitude poem will rewire your brain to become responsive to this object when you hold it, over time. We are conditioning our brains and our emotional bodies to respond to these feelings we cultivate during the gratitude practice simply by holding the stone - pretty cool! WITH FRESH AIR TO BREATHE


I HAVE PURE WATER TO DRINK

AND DELICIOUS FOOD TO EAT


I HAVE CLEAN CLOTHES TO WEAR

AND STURDY SHOES ON MY FEET


THERE'S A SOLID ROOF OVER MY HEAD

WITH A WARM BED TO SLEEP


I'M SURROUNDED BY LOVED ONES

WHO LOVE ME FOR ME


THERE'S RUNNING WATER FOR SHOWERS

WITH CONSTANT ELECTRICITY


I HAVE MONEY FOR BILLS

WITH A LITTLE EXTRA TO SPREE


MY BODY IS HEALTHY

AND MOVES AROUND EASILY


I HAVE JOY IN MY HEART

AND EXUDE POSITIVITY


MY MIND IS PEACEFUL

AND EDUCATED AND FREE


I AM CONNECTED TO SOURCE

WITH UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES


I LOVE THIS LIFE I CHOSE

AND I'M GRATEFUL TO BE ME


Every time I read this aloud to myself in the morning while holding my stone, I get a warm, loving, peaceful presence wash over me! It is so magical. I hope that it provides the same for you! It is written in this sing-song type of way because as a former preschool teacher, I have learned the value of songs and rhymes if wanting to memorize something, so this is another trick for creating something you can utilize quickly, off the top of your head if needed, to shift your vibration at any moment when you feel yourself falling out of alignment.
